São Paulo - Actress Angelina Jolie has filed a request for divorce from Brad Pitt, according to TMZ. The motivation was a conflict on children. The information was confirmed by a couple's lawyer, Robert Offer, on Tuesday, 20.
The site says that Angelina began the lawsuit on Monday, 19, citing "irreconcilable differences." Offer said the decision was taken "for the health of the family."
According to TMZ, the actress asked for custody of six children, but asks the judge that Pitt is entitled to visitation. Sources close to the couple say that Angelina was dissatisfied with his kinship methods, and that there is no "third person". The actress did not ask board. They were married in August 2014 and were together since 2004.
