In this museum the toilet is gold and you can use

Maurizio Cattelan: “America”

São Paulo - A toilet made in 18 karat gold may seem exaggeration of ostentation, but it is exactly the proposal of the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan to create the exposed part at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.

The work titled "America" is aimed at people visiting the site and works perfectly, including their use is encouraged.

According to museum information, the idea is to make people have access to the exaggerated luxury that only 1% of the global population would. "Art 1% for the 99%" - in free translation "1% to 99% art" - is the motto of the work.

The vessel was installed in a common bathroom inside the museum and people who choose to live this experience may be quiet, because the privacy is guaranteed.
