Sanders wins primaries in West Virginia

Despite victory, Democratic presidential candidate has little chance of defeating Hillary Clinton in the party contest. With competitors out of the campaign, Trump winning more delegates in Nebraska.

The pre-candidate for the US presidency by the Democratic Party Bernie Sanders won the primary in the state of West Virginia on Tuesday (10/05). The victory, however, should not shake Democratic opponent, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump, now only Republican aspirant for the presidential elections scheduled for November, won more delegates in West Virginia and Nebraska. Sanders had won the caucus of the Democratic Party in Nebraska in March.

Although another victory of his rival, Hillary must now get just 144 delegates to reach the 2,383 required by the Democratic Party to win the primaries and become the presidential candidate of the legend. So far, Sanders won 1,469 delegates.

United against Trump

After the publication of the results in West Virginia, Sanders said that maintains the objective of being nominated candidate of the Democratic Party. "We are in this campaign to win the Democratic nomination. We will fight for each vote," he said. "There is still a way to go to win."

Although not agree with Hillary in many areas, the senator said that the two have a common goal: "We have to defeat Donald Trump and I'm happy to say that we will succeed," he said.

With the withdrawal of Senator Ted Cruz and the Ohio Governor John Kasich, Trump competitors by Republicans, the primary on Tuesday only served to confirm the number of delegates that the tycoon will.

With 1,107 delegates, Trump is close to achieving the 1,237 required for your application to be endorsed at the Republican Party Convention in July. The legend will still primaries in seven states, including California.
