Vientiane, 8 Sep 2016 - Barack Obama set Donald Trump, on Thursday (8) as an inappropriate person to be president of the United States, after the Republican candidate criticized the US military and praised Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Obama, who was in Laos for a summit with the leaders of Southeast Asia, on his last trip to East Asia, said that Trump has "definitely crazy ideas" and contradictory and is "uninformed".

"I can tell you, from the interactions I have had over the last eight or nine days with foreign leaders, this is a serious job," Obama added.

"You really have to know about what you are talking about and you really need to have done your homework. When you speak, should really reflect the policy that you can implement," he said.

Trump drew attention on Wednesday when he stated in an interview broadcast on television, the president of Russia was "much more leading" than Obama.

"I estimate that it would have a very good relationship with Putin (...) was a leader, much more than our president," he said.

Trump is' inappropriate 'and' indisciplinado'Hillary considered, in turn, "terrifying" Trump "prefer" Russian President Barack Obama.

"Interestingly, again (Trump) praised Vladimir Putin as Russian strongman. Giving surprisingly step to prefer the Russian president instead of our president, is not only unpatriotic and insulting to the people of our country and our commander in chief, is terrifying, "said former secretary of State on the runway at White Plains airport (New York State).

"What (former Republican President) Ronald Reagan would say a Republican candidate attacking American generals and commends the President of Russia? We know the answer."

Seeking to show his statesmanlike stature, Clinton promised to capture the head of the Islamic State (EI), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, will be "an absolute priority" to reach the White House.

"Deter Al-Bagdadi requires the highest level efforts, but it would send a strong message: anyone can drive, or plan, attacks on the United States and get away with it."

"Something we have not heard of Donald Trump at night is to have a plan to face the Isis (EI acronym in English), one of the biggest threats that our country faces," Clinton said.

She recalled that, when asked about how contain the spread of global terrorism, "Trump's response was simply 'take the oil.'"

"He said his plan is secret, but the truth is that simply does not have one, and that's not only dangerous, it should be disqualifying," he said.

Hillary Clinton reiterated that his opponent is "totally unqualified to be president and that (his) character the disqualified to become commander in chief."

The Democratic candidate also considered "inappropriate" that Trump has mentioned his meeting with the intelligence services, organized for each candidate to the White House, referring to the "body language" of their parties - which seemed, he said, few satisfied with an Obama decision.

"This is completely inappropriate and undisciplined. Never comment on any aspect of a meeting of intelligence," he affirmed.

On a visit to Cleveland, Ohio, Trump attacked the rival, referring to his vote in favor of the Iraq invasion, as a senator in 2002.
