Shops stir up controversy by selling Israeli soldier costume for children

Networks of North American stores Walmart and Amazon were targeted users in their websites to promote the sale of a costume for Halloween of a soldier of the Israeli army, as reported English site "Metro".

Fantasy, which was available in the United States at a price of US $ 27.44 (R $ 106), showed a child with his military uniform and a machine gun toy Uzi - not included in the package - in his hands.

The participation of the Israeli army in the conflict with Palestine gave the tone of some ironic reviews posted by users.

"Now your little one can go to his friend's house, dominate your room and all your toys and claim that God gave him the right to pick up. If the friend refuses, your little soldier of Israel may use force, and if they fight back, you can say it's anti-Semitis

The controversy also includes another fantasy: a nose rubber off, "perfect" for the fantasy of an Arab sheik, according to the product description, which also shows a man described as Arabic using the part.
Walmart discontinued the sale of the two fantasies after the controversy. The part of the Israeli soldier, however, is still available on Amazon, where users replicate similar criticisms made against Walmart - 71% of them so far, give only one star (out of five) for the product.
Another portion uses the assessment to defend the army and Israel's position on the Palestinian issue.
