Donald Trump: Obama, who made the warning directed at Trump also said that the candidate's history needs to be analyzed

President Barack Obama has warned the controversial Republican candidate Donald Trump on Friday to say that the US president is not a "reality show."

Obama also said the Trump history needs to be analyzed.

"He has a long history that needs to be examined closely, and I think it's important for us to take seriously the statements he made in the past," Obama said.

"We live a very serious period and the presidency is a very serious job. That's not entertainment. This is not a 'reality show'," he emphasized.

The president was referring to the fact controversial tycoon was the host of the reality show "The Apprentice."

Trump almost got the Republican nomination after the withdrawal of his last two opponents, Ted Cruz and John Kasich, but his victory is far from being accepted in the party ranks.
