British break paralympic record in cycling

The first day of tests in the paralympic velodrome was busy, with four podium finishes. On the first afternoon of the dispute, the British Giglia Megan took the gold in the individual pursuit race, class 1, 2 and 3.

The silver went to Jamie Whitmore, the United States, and the bronze for the Dutch Alyda Norbruis. Megan broke the Paralympic record, which was 4 minutes 12 seconds and 30 hundredths. She made 4: 10,654.

In the men's race persecution of 4000 meters, the British Steve Bate took the gold, leaving the bronze and silver with the Dutch Ter Schure Vincent and Stephen de Vries.

The track cycling events go to the next Domigo (11) in the Olympic Velodrome in Rio, at the Olympic Park Barra.
