Desmond Tutu is hospitalized again




Joanesburgo, 17 Sep 2016 (AFP) - South African Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, 84, and Nobel Peace Prize, was hospitalized again on Saturday after he was discharged three days after surgery, said his family.

Tutu had been hospitalized on August 24 by "a recurrent infection" that needed "a minor surgical operation." She was discharged on Wednesday and was again hospitalized on Saturday.

"The archbishop was hospitalized on Saturday as a precaution after the injury caused by the operation showed signs of infection," his family said in a statement.

His wife, Leah Tutu, said he was "very grateful for the prayers and support."
