Train crash leaves at least 10 injured in California

Los Angeles - At least ten people were injured on Tuesday in Sun Valley, California (United States) after a train crashing into a cargo truck that was in full route, they informed the local authorities.

The train of Metrolink company, which was en route to Los Angeles and went through the line of Antelope Valley, collided with the truck at around 10h30 local time (14h30 GMT), detailed the Department of Los Angeles Fire Department.

The clash took place near Sunland Boulevard and it is estimated that about 190 passengers were on the train.

The authorities added that the six train cars affected by the accident remain on the roads, while emergency crews determine if there are more wounded.

The victims were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.
