Juncker says Scotland won the right to be heard in the EU
Brussels - President of the European Commission (EC), Jean-Claude Juncker, said on Wednesday that Scotland, who voted for the UK stay in the European Union (EU), "earned the right to be heard in Brussels."
"I will listen carefully," Juncker said, noting that despite this, they will not interfere with British subjects.
Juncker was speaking at the end of the first meeting of the 27 heads of state and government of the EU without the UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
He will receive today the main Scottish minister, Nicola Sturgeon, who has met with the President of the European Parliament (EP), Martin Schulz, in the morning (local time).
