Soldiers from Latin America are better prepared than Americans
In Paraguay there was another competition between soldiers of the special forces of 19 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, reports the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
After nine days of competition, the Honduran military was first, followed by Colombians. The US occupies the third.
"The teams competed against each other in physical preparation, sniper fire at various distances, operational decision-making, offensive missions and assault," the Pentagon official statement quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta as saying.
In addition, the soldiers carried out surprise group trips in the distance of 14 kilometers and an individual march of 20 kilometers.
Soldiers from Latin American countries showed the best results, while the US Navy Seals occupied only third place.
American admiral Kurt Tidd added during the awards ceremony that the exercises allowed the exchange of knowledge among soldiers, which will positively impact military cooperation among the military.
The next exercises of this type will be held in Panama.
