This is a huge collection of Nazi artifacts that was recently found in Argentina

It was discovered by the Federal Police Argentina a house with a secret room near Buenos Aires, with about 70 Nazi artifacts, including a negative of Adolf Hitler and a big knife. The police are investigating why the hell things were in Argentina. According to the website Haaretz, Interpol agents reviewed the house still on June 8, and some works of "illicit origins" had been discovered north of Buenos Aires, causing the police to reach this new destination. Have you read our story that shows what the world would be like if the Nazis had won the Second World War?

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered a book cover that hid a secret room, where such things were. The owner of the house remains loose and is not defined whether he will be charged or not. Experts on the subject of the Holocaust were contacted to learn more about the origin of the objects, and members of the Argentine Jewish community say that these things may have been taken to Argentina by Nazi officials after World War II.

At first, experts have said that objects are likely to be just simple reproductions, but they believe they are original pieces. "Our first investigations indicated evidence of originality," Argentine Security Minister Patricia Bullrich told The Associated Press.

This discovery is one of the biggest of the subject in Argentina, a country that has an unhappy relationship with the Holocaust, because several Nazi authorities exiled themselves in Argentina after the war, including Adolf Eichmann and Josef Mengele.

For those who do not know, Eichmann was found in Buenos Aires by Nazi hunters in 1960, and was sentenced to death by hanging in 1962 in Israel. Mengele fled Argentina and went to Paraguay, but later he stopped in Brazil. No one knows if such a collection belongs to one of these two Nazis.

The Argentine authorities believe that these objects are original because they are marked with portraits of Nazi leaders. One of the items, for example, is a magnifying glass, which is also present in the negative of a photograph of Hitler. Unfortunately the photo of such a magnifying glass has not yet been disclosed. "This is a strategy to sell them: to show that the pieces were used by the horror, by the Fuhrer. There are pictures of Hitler with these objects, "Bullrich said.

Among the items found, one of the most disturbing are medical instruments, including items used to measure the size of the head of humans. Nazi scientists traveled around the world in the 1930s measuring the skulls of countless people of different ethnicities, relying on a pseudoscience that preached the determination of "higher races" through facial features.

Other objects that draw attention are the Nazi toys and others that were destined to young Nazis, like a collection of bagpipes with illustrations of young people carrying flags with the swastika.

"There's no precedent for a breakthrough like this. Parts are stolen, there are forgeries; But this is original, and we have to find out where it came from, "said Nestor Roncaglia, head of the Argentine federal police. But what about you, do you think these objects are original or are they no more than a great farce?
