Broadway stars including Kristen Bells and the award-winning with the play Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda, will record a song in support of the LGBT community of Orlando, reported People magazine on Wednesday.
The version of the successful 1965 Jackie DeShannon "What the Wolrd Needs Now is Love" will be available for download for $ 1.99. All proceeds will go to the LGBT Center of Central Florida.
Singer Sara Bareilles and actress Sarah Jessica Parker, famous for "Fri and the City", will also join the action in honor of the 49 people killed in a shooting attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando on Sunday.
The radio announcer and actor Seth Rudetsky and her husband, producer James Wesley organized the action, hoping to repeat the success of the hit "We Are the World," written to help victims of famine in Africa.
"We started to make calls, and suddenly we had several theater actors, along with an orchestra, and the services of a recording studio, all wanting to donate time and talent," Rudetsky said.
