Iconic hotel reopens Watergate in the US

São Paulo - The famous Watergate hotel, known to be the scene of one of the biggest political scandals of the United States in the 70s, has undergone a makeover and reopened to the public last week.

Closed in 2007, the establishment is now considered a design hotel and the entire transformation cost about $ 125 million.

Among the attractions of the new hotel, a bar composed of more than 2,500 bottles of whiskey and a saltwater pool attract the attention of guests.

Some rooms of the hotel has the signature of the Israeli designer Ron Arad and sculptural furniture of Italian designer Moroso. As for the uniforms of the staff bears the signature of the designer Janie Bryant.
