At 109, British reveals secret of longevity: Daily drink of whiskey

to celebrate their birthday 109 years on Wednesday, the British Grace Jones received a Queen card and revealed the secret of their longevity: a sip of whiskey every day. "I do not drink, but take a little bit of whiskey every night," he said.

She is one of the most long-lived people in the UK - the oldest is 112 years.

In the BBC interview, the questions had to be written, as Jones has hearing problems.

"I feel like an old 60 years," he said. "The only problem is that here," he said, pointing to the ears. "I have no pain, I have good appetite and sleep well," she added.

This was the tenth card that received the British Queen Elizabeth 2nd. It is tradition that, upon completion of one hundred years, the subjects of the queen start to receive cards.
