Cosplay will cruise theme in Singapore

Traditional costumes based on Eastern fantastic characters, the costumes, will be the subject of a cruise in Singapore in early 2016. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Singapore Cosplay Club, the organization will do COSFEST SEA: The Rising Tide aboard the Mariner of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International. The event will take place in three-night itinerary departing on January 8 and will feature major cosplayers in the region.


During CONFEST SEA, there were several themed activities. The main event will be the Asia Cosplay Meet Championship, which will feature competitors from China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Aboard the cosplayers will also have the opportunity to exchange information and learn more about different cultures cosplay. Guests are also invited to join in the fun and show their own fantasies. They may also find some celebrities that culture as Neneko, Taiwan, that will participate in autograph and photo sessions.

Other scheduled activities are the Cosplay Parade, where participants of CONFEST parade dressed as popular characters from Anime; the Cosplay Café, where guests can try drinks featuring characters; Custom Dressing Session where popular costumes will be available for passengers to dress their children for photos; and the ability to take pictures with the contestants.

The cruise will pass through the port of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Prices start at SGD (Singapore dollar) 460 (R $ 1,283.22) per person, plus taxes. With themed packages give right to a souvenir of COSFEST SEA and special places in Cosplay Café. They also guarantee access to special events such as the Private Cosplay Photoshoot and the festival Sounds of CONFEST Singing Party.
