Seoul - North Korean propaganda website "DPRK Today" praised on Wednesday the presumptive Republican candidate for the White House, Donald Trump, whom he defined as a "wise political" and "sighted" by its intention to withdraw US troops Korean peninsula.
"In my personal opinion, there are many positive aspects in the incendiary policy of Trump," says the editorial of this state page of the regime led by Kim Jong-un, which was published signed by North Korean scholar Han Yong-Mook.
"If the United States does not interfere in the affairs of the peninsula, the two Koreas will be able to reconcile and cooperate", adds the text, which was collected by various South Korean media and international.
"The candidate that Americans should choose is not the (Democratic) Hillary Clinton, who wants to apply the model to the Iranian nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula, but Trump has the objective to talk directly with us," says the editorial.
Throughout his campaign to be the Republican candidate for the White House, Trump said that his intention is to dialogue with Pyongyang to end its nuclear weapons development program, as well as press Beijing to advance this issue.
The American tycoon also suggested that Washington should withdraw its troops from South Korea unless Seoul assume more of the cost of economic development.
