Boris Johnson endorses minister to become prime minister

              

London - Former Mayor of London Boris Johnson said support on Monday the Minister of British Energy, Andrea Leadsom, the race for the leadership of the Conservative Party and to be the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Johnson, one of the main voices of the campaign by the British out of the European Union ruled on Thursday to launch its own name to replace David Cameron as leader of the conservatives and as British prime minister.

His decision not to dispute the charge came after the Justice Secretary, Michael Gove, a colleague of the campaign by the British exit from the EU, to announce his own candidacy. Previously, Gove had said it would support Johnson.

Leadsom and Gove must compete against Interior Minister Theresa May; against the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Stephen Crabb; and against former defense minister Liam Fox for leadership of the ruling party.
