Toronto - For the first time in history, a Canadian prime minister in exercise appeared and participated in Gay Pride Day march in Toronto, in which more than 1 million people on Sunday.
The event, considered one of the world's largest and most important in the Americas, began with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the massacre of the gay nightclub Pulse in Orlando (USA).
Before attending the march, Justin Trudeau was in a religious ceremony organized by the Rev. Brent Hawkes, one of the best known activists for the rights of the LGBT community in Canada.
Trudeau attended the craft along with Ontario Prime Minister Kathleen Wynne, the first ruler of the main Canadian province to declare openly lesbian; Minister of Finance of Canada, Bill Morneau, and the mayor of Toronto, John Tory.
Early in the religious service, Trudeau, Kathleen, Morneau and Tory rose from their seats to dance "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga, who played in the event.
