Passenger shoots plane on fire during emergency landing

Boeing Singapore Airlines had been forced to return to Changi Airport in Singapore, because of fuel leakage

A passenger filmed the moment a passenger plane caught fire during an emergency landing in Singapore.

The Boeing 777-300, Singapore Airlines, took off from Changi Airport with Milan towards 2am local time - 15h Sunday in Brasilia.

Just moments later, the aircraft has to return because of a fuel leak.

By touching the ground in Changi, the right engine caught fire. On board, the passenger Lee Bee Yee filmed the incident and posted the pictures on Facebook.

Firefighters and emergency personnel were deployed and quickly put out the fire.


All passengers left the aircraft safely.
