360 degree video takes you inside the largest particle accelerator in the world

The video allows you to take a walk inside the largest machine in the world

          Acelerador de Partículas

LHC, the famous particle accelerator is anything but simple. In addition to being considered the largest machine in the world, the giant of 27 km in circumference and 8.6 km in diameter attempts to use technology to recreate an environment similar to the beginning of the universe. With it, science has discovered the Higgs Higs - the particle sub-atomic giving mass to quarks and electrons (not for her, you would be a distance, not a person). Here in SUPER we've talked about the size of the LHC, on the particle, and even about why the accelerator combines not very animal - but face it: the whole thing is not easy to imagine. Or rather it was not. The British channel BBC TV produced a video in 360 ° inside the accelerator. It is as if you could take a walk in one of the most important places for modern science.

The video, three minutes and 15 seconds, explains a little about the characteristics of the accelerator but do not have the subtitle option - is restricted to speaking English. On the other hand, anyone can enjoy the tour of the facilities. It's simple: just click on the video and drag it to the side you want to turn. Another possibility is to press the little arrows to rotate the camera; a third (and most expensive) option is to use a virtual reality glasses - then just turn the same face
