LHC, the famous particle accelerator is anything but simple. In addition to being considered the largest machine in the world, the giant of 27 km in circumference and 8.6 km in diameter attempts to use technology to recreate an environment similar to the beginning of the universe. With it, science has discovered the Higgs Higs - the particle sub-atomic giving mass to quarks and electrons (not for her, you would be a distance, not a person).
