Old decide by young people in the UK

More than 60% of young people prefer to remain in the United Kingdom in the European Union. Who defined the polls was the older population, who attended much to the polls.

The UK decided yesterday by the output of the European Union in a tight race: 48% of the population voted to remain, while 52% preferred the output - in total, the vote difference was 1.2 million. Prime Minister David Cameron, who was campaigning for permanence, has announced his resignation. The result showed two signs: young and old think in very different ways; and the United Kingdom walks and disunited.

Just look at the data of mouth research urn made by YouGov institute: 64% of young people between 18 and 24 wanted the region to continue within the European Union. And only 33% of Britons between 50 and 64 shared the same opinion.

How, then, members of the pro-output team got the better? It is easy to guess: young people attend less to the polls, although who will live longer in the new situation. In early June, only 50% of them said they would participate in the referendum. In contrast, over 60% of people aged 33-54 years and 80% of people over 80 years have confirmed the presence in the vote.

Otherwise, the results were quite different in the northern and southern part of Britain. 62% of Scots and 56% of the citizens of Northern Ireland wanted to stay in the pack - because, in a united Europe, there are counterweights to the power of London within the UK.

It now remains to know how is the region going forward. And if the British decision will influence other countries, such as France, to take the same path.
