Poll shows 52% in favor and 48% against staying in the EU

                         

London - Institute of voting intention Research Ipsos MORI found that 52 percent of British voters are in favor of the United Kingdom staying in the European Union, while 48 percent want to block out on a referendum being held on Thursday -market.

The pound advanced against the dollar after the publication of research, and reached a maximum in six months, trading at a high of 1.2 percent on the day.

The survey of 1,592 people was commissioned by the Evening Standard newspaper and heard interviewed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
