Adhemar Cabral designer has a resume and both. In six years, they came out of their hands 22 different cars, most of the race.
He has made McLaren, Lotus, Ferrari and Red Bull, all of Formula 1, and a Lamborghini Diablo. But he never worked in assembler or McLaren: Adhemar builds replica life-size.
It all started when he created for his own use a tee-bucket (hot rod based on the Ford T) BMW 6-cylinder engine. "He was so good that before you finish it, had already asked me to restore a Porsche Spyder 550. From there, I began to receive requests for replica" he says.
Among the projects that Adhemar fondly remembers are the first McLaren's Ayrton Senna and the first Ferrari of Michael Schumacher, both for decoration.
"I also marked the F-1 replica of Senna used the victory of GP Brazil 1993." By the way, this was McLaren who paraded in Rio 2014 Carnival Now he prepares his greatest tribute to the idol.
"I'm rebuilding a natural size in setting the scene that everyone would like to see: the Williams and beat Senna out of it unscathed."
After the replicas, which cost on average $ 90,000 Adhemar went on to motorize models. Today prepare a Lotus with F-3 engine of 250 hp for a client and a Porsche 917 (two-time winner of Le Mans in 1970-71) with a V6 400 hp for himself. "How am passionate about speed, I decided to create a good toy for use on the slopes."
Adhemar now plans to make a single-seater with its own design and should open by the end of the year, a site of 50,000 m2 in São Paulo show room to sell their replicas space for old encounters, kart cross track, racing simulators and one drive-in theater.
