Writing Center - The decision-making body of the Ethics Committee which is chaired by Hans-Joachim Eckert announced the expulsion for life of Jeffrey Webb, former president of CONCACAF, vice-president of FIFA and president of the Football Association of the Cayman Islands, involved in corruption affairs.
Jeffrey Webb, fined in addition to $ 1 million, may not exercise never any activity related to football at national and international level. The ban comes into force immediately.
Investigations against Webb were opened on May 27, 2015 at the hands of Cornell Borbély, chairman of the investigative body of the Ethics Committee, after an indictment from the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
On November 23, 2015, Jeffrey Webb pleaded guilty to an organized crime charges of conspiracy, three counts of fraud and corruption and many other money laundering.
