Sacramento - California Governor Jerry Brown passed a new legislation asking SeaWorld water park to continue the plan to end the breeding of orcas and their shows.
Among the articles of the law is a fine of up to $ 100,000 to any person or company to create orcas in captivity.
SeaWorld announced in March it would stop creating orcas and explore the shows of whales in their parks. The company plans to invest in educational opportunities with orcas already in the park.
The new showcases of orcas will be opened next year at SeaWorld San Diego.
