Fishermen recorded a video of two sharks devouring the remains of a dead sea whale near the US town of Virginia Beach, Virginia, according to The Virginian Pilot.
Initially the fishermen thought they had found an overturned sailboat and even wanted to contact the Coast Guard. As they approached, they realized it was the swollen corpse of a whale measuring 15 feet in length, according to The Virginian Pilot.
Because of the unbearable smell, the fishermen approached the carcass on the side where it sold and were perplexed. Near the dead whale were two predatory fish, one of them a huge white shark.
"There was no aggression or signs of knocking," said Captain Jonathan Carter, adding that it is not all "a big piece of shark." day you can observe such a scene.
Fishermen doubt that the reason for the whale's death is because of shark attacks, assuming that it has been hit by the propeller of some ship.
